Easter Brunch at Disneyland Resort

Last year I was bummed to find out that the traditional Easter Brunch in the Grand Ballroom at Disneyland Hotel, was cancelled. I remember a couple years back, attending the " Alice in Wonderland Easter Basket Buffet". I so wished to continue brunching with the family every Easter at this same venue. So since it wasn't an option last year we went ahead and did the Easter Brunch at "Goofys Kitchen". Only two Resort restaraunts participated in a kinda Easter themed brunch. Although Goofys is a family favorite, we weren't really wowed by the cool decorations but same menu. 

I bet your hoping I'm gonna say, "but this year the Disney Brunch is back"! Sadly it is not. This year they are offering the brunch themed events at "Storytellers Cafe and Napa Rose. Reservation lines were open as of yesterday. I called this morning to make my reservation at Storytellers Cafe and there was still plenty of room left. Both venues will be complete with a special menu added to a regular buffett style brunch menu, character interaction and MIMOSAS!!! Reservations will go fast so if you decide to make a Disney Easter this year, be sure to call Disney Dining to make your ressie. 

I will say that on the years we do a Disney Brunch for Easter, we do not include a dip into the park. Easter Sunday in the parks are brutal as far as crowds go. I suggest that if you are combining Brunch with a day at the park, either make a very early reservation or the latest one available. The hours of 11am-1pm are the busiest for brunch which means the character interaction will be spread thin. Remember if you are an AP Member, we get our discount at either dining options, which will make the per person rate rather affordable compared to other Easter Brunch events around town.

Menu highlights: Black pepper and herb-crusted NY strip loin; leg of lamb; corned beef hash with poached egg & Hollandaise sauce; roasted salmon;  made-to-order omelets; fresh scrambled eggs;  Gold hash browns, sausage and bacon; artisan cheese selection; spring green salad with house vinaigrette; seasonal fruit and berry selection.
