The Best Theme Park in California for Extreme Entertainment

For the last forty years Six Flags Magic Mountain has held the title of being the leader in delivering extreme thrills in California. Nestled in the foothills of Valencia, California this park does not practice modesty in showing its guns to those passing by on Interstate 5. The twisty cluttered tracks of coasters that are visible from the freeway are just the tip of the iceberg. This park offers 260 acres of jam packed heart stopping entertainment that will have your adrenaline pumping like no place else.

For the diehard thrill seekers this park delivers several extreme coasters which will have your tummies in a flutter. If you are interested in testing your own fear factor levels then the following rides will accommodate; X2, Tatsu, Déjà vu, Goliath, Batman The Ride, Riddlers Revenge, and Scream. If you’re not too sure where you may rate in the adrenaline junkie meter then definitely start off with some more moderate rated rides such as; Colossus, Revolution, and Ninja. These are only a few coasters and rides you have to choose from and that’s not where the entertainment stops.

Since the early 80’s Magic Mountain has been home to the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes Characters. If you’re a huge Bugs bunny and friends fan then you will be in the right place to rub elbows with these famed cartoon celebrities and stock up on their themed merchandise. See them in action and on stage in Six Flags plaza. Join "Club President" Bugs Bunny in this audience-participatory, wet and zany game show designed especially for the kiddies. You can also mingle amongst the very super throughout the park. Shake hands and take pictures with your favorite heroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and other Justice League characters.

On those hot Southern California days you may enjoy some invigorating water themed entertainment options at Hurricane Harbor, Magic Mountains neighboring Water Park. With the price of separate admission you can start off your day twisting and turning in several tubular slides or just laze around in an inner tube catching some rays while floating through a calm river. Hurricane Harbor is always a great addition to your Six Flags visit during the summer season. Keep in mind this is a seasonal park only operational from late May to mid September.

Magic Mountain has come a long way in the last few years, revamping their parks image. They are now infusing the park with more Family Friendly attractions and rides to attract not only the teenage and young adult demographic. You can now add Magic Mountain to your list of destinations for that annual family trip and know that it has much to offer for all ages. Be sure to check out what new rides and attractions Magic Mountain has in store for 2011 to include a newly themed Superman ride and a crazy new coaster called Green Lantern which is like nothing you have ever seen.
